-DJ makes everything really easy to understand because he gets rid of the “B.S.” that other guitar teachers create when they teach theory, scales, or songs. He breaks it down to the point where you can understand even the complicated stuff about theory.
It’s rare to have teacher who can teach you how to play AND who can actually play really well themselves. DJ can play everything he teaches which is a change from other teachers I have had who couldn’t play what I wanted to learn.
The thing I like most about DJ is that he makes me feel like I can play any song that I ever wanted to play if I worked my butt off.

My son has been going to DJ for lessons about 2 years now. He really looks forward to his lessons and Idolizes him. Every now and then we joke with our son and tell him we are going to take him out of guitar lessons and he gets so upset! As for DJ, he is not only an amazing teacher, he is an awesome person!
